Language Travel Terms and Conditions

Contract

On confirming your language course reservation with Language Travel Reinvented AG, you are accepting our general terms and conditions. Confirmation can be made in writing, over email or on the phone. Once you have made your booking, we will confirm your course within two working days over email or in a phone call. Courses are subject to the teacher´s availability and we will inform you as soon as possible if your chosen course is not available, in which case we will offer you an alternative. You must be at least 18 years old to confirm a reservation with Language Travel Reinvented AG.

Host family bookings will be forwarded to and provided by our partner HFS London, which is contract partner if you book a host family via Klazz. On confirming your host family booking you’re accepting their general terms and conditions.

Flights: Language Travel Reinvented AG can’t book flights on your behalf.

Payment

Once you have made a booking you can either pay by credit card immediately or bank transfer within 10 days after your booking, but no later than 10 days before your course starts. Your booking is confirmed once the total amount is paid and until this point, Language Travel Reinvented AG has the right to cancel your reservation. Once payment is made, we will ensure you receive all the documents required for your trip at least two weeks before the start of your course.

Legal responsibility

Language Travel Reinvented AG only assumes legal responsibility for damages directly related to our services and any liability is limited to the total amount paid to us. The period of liability is limited to the duration of the language course and the language course destination. Language Travel Reinvented AG does not assume responsibility for inbound or outbound travel. We do not accept responsibility for program changes due to delays or strikes. Language Travel Reinvented AG is not responsible for travel changes caused by circumstances beyond the company’s control, such as those made by local authorities or third parties.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with your language course, you should immediately file a complaint via the Klazz Campus App. You should send us the details in writing (email or letter). If the situation is then still not resolved, you are requested to inform us of your complaint again no more than 30 days after finishing your course. Any complaints made more than 30 days after your course will not be considered.

Cancellations made by the customer

Cancellations must be made in writing as soon as possible. If you would like to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, you are required to pay a cancellation charge of 400 EUR / 500 CHF. If you make a last minute cancellation, the following charges apply:

  • 29 days or more before the start of the course: 400 EUR / 500 CHF
  • Between 14 and 28 days before the start of the course: 20% of the course and full accommodation costs (min. 400 EUR / 500 CHF)
  • Between 7 and 13 days before the start of the course: 40% of the course and full accommodation costs (min. 400 EUR / 500 CHF)
  • Between 1 and 6 days before the start of the course: 70% of the course and full accommodation costs (min. 400 EUR / 500 CHF)

For bookings before December 1st, 2017: If you cancel your course from the starting date onwards, you will not be reimbursed. If the cancellation is a result of a serious medical, family or work problem, you should be able to get your money back through your travel insurance.

For bookings after December 1st, 2017: Your language travel is covered by our travel insurance by Helvetic Assistance. Their travel insurance terms and conditions apply.

Cancellations made by Language Travel Reinvented AG

In the unlikely event that Language Travel Reinvented AG has to cancel your language course, you will be informed in writing within five working days. In this case, we will reimburse you the entire amount that has already been paid to us as soon as possible.

Price changes

The cost of your program is fixed when you confirm your reservation. From this point, any price increases resulting from fluctuations in exchange rates or school price changes will not affect you.

Modifications to your booking

It may not be possible to modify your booking after your departure. If changes are possible, you will be required to pay a fee of 80 EUR / 100 CHF. If you would like to change your booking to a different teacher, this will be deemed a cancellation of your original booking.

Passport, visa, vaccinations, etc.

It is the customer’s responsibility to meet all travel requirements set by the destination’s authorities (passport, visa, vaccinations, customs, etc.). We will provide you with information and assist you with any questions. We strive to keep our information as up to date as possible, but we cannot guarantee accuracy as country entry requirements are constantly changing. We encourage you to inquire with your local embassy or consulate before traveling.

Insurance

Your language travel (booked after December 1st, 2017) is covered by our travel insurance by Helvetic Assistance. Their travel insurance terms and conditions apply.

Public Holidays

No lessons will be held on Public Holidays in the UK (January 1st/March 30/April 2nd/May 7/May 28/August 27/December 25/December 26 2018), There is no refund for lessons missed. Published course start dates fall on a Monday. If this day is a public holiday, the course will begin on the following working day.

Changes to our services

Although the information on our website is constantly being checked and updated, it is possible that some details are incorrect. In these circumstances, we will inform you of all changes before you confirm your booking.
